We all tend to feel as thou others’ viewpoint about us our negative. We have to be careful that our self-perception of their opinion is not slanted.
How can we make sure? Let us ask ourselves:
1. Is the advice given true?
2. Is the advice given constructive and not destructive?
3. Is the advice given from someone who knows us, love us, and offers us genuine feedback?
If all of our answers are yes, then receive it in love.
A prayer we can incorporate daily and proclaim is “I will not take things personally and be open to God’s constructive criticism through others”.
