The presents have all been unwrapped. Christmas caroling has ceased. Christmas decorations on the trees and throughout our communities will be taken down. We have enjoyed time with family and celebrating Jesus’ birthday.
Has the Christmas’ celebration ceased?
Of course not, within our hearts and the guidance of the Holy Spirit we feel and continue to hold on to the promises of Christ to us through His birth.
He promised to never leave us; therefore, we can endure life challenges.
He promised His love will always abide within our hearts; therefore, we can continue to serve self and others in His love.
He promised His shelter in the midst of disappointments, unforeseen tragedies, and life’s detours; therefore, “we can do all things in Christ who gives us strength” (Philippians 4:13).
