There are several colors that come to mind when we joyously think about Christmas; green, red, and gold. As we meditate on the meaning of the Christmas’ colors, let us ponder over how we can apply the energizing season colors within our lifestyles.
Green- this evergreen color brightens our homes, workplaces, indoors and outdoors display in the forms of creative decorated trees, which represent life and remind us the spring is near. As we communicate with others during this holiday, season let our smiles radiant God’s love, kindness and compassion.
Red- this blazing color seen within the candy canes, Holly berries, tree lights, and even on Santa Claus’ suit, reminds us of blood of Jesus Christ (Salvation Plan), the savior whose birthday we are celebrating who came a took away our sins and reunited our relationships with Yahweh. As we graciously receive God’s love for us in spite of our sinful natures, let us seek God’s guidance on how we can serve others selflessly.
Gold- The color represents our guidance light and the glowing sun in the Son of Christ. The warmth from the ravishing color of gold reminds us the Baby Jesus birth. His destiny which journey through His death burial and resurrection which made it possible for us to live in royalty. During this holiday season as we are walking in faith and victory, let us not forget to share the Good News through our words, deeds, choices, and actions.
The gift we bring and offer to other is our lifestyles of colors.
