I know who I am. Is that a vain or prideful statement?
That will depend on how we view the person making the statement. We are confident children of the most High King. We are to think and act positive in Christ. Our assurance on whose we are permits us to boldly endure various trials and tribulation while being open and honest about our failures, disappointments, and distractions. As long as we maintain our Self-confidence in Christ we can overcome anxiety and live without worry. We can live authentically knowing that we are surrounded by God’s love, mercy and grace.
Our faith is in our confidence that “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me, Says the Lord” (Isaiah 54:17 NKJV).
We can continue our earthly journey. As we step out in faith and remain confident even when our circumstances and situations proclaim failure, failure, failure. Why are we able to overcome the roads and street clubs called doom, failure, competition? We are covered in God’s blood and on the street called Victory, which reminds us that we are safe in God’s arms.
Being confident in Christ encourages and motivates us to keep stepping out in faith under the spirit of humility.
