Maintaining liver awareness helps us to avoid being inform by our medical physician that we have a liver disease. Disorder of the liver initiates when one’s liver is not able to digest food or rid one’s body of toxic substances. We are informed by our medical doctor that liver disease can be inherited, or we can get it through a variety of factors that damages one’s liver, such as alcohol usage, viruses and obesity.
What are some of the symptoms of liver diseases? They can include but not limited to the following: skin and eyes that appear yellowish; noticing swelling in one’s legs and ankles, having abdominal pain and swelling, having itchy skin, noticing dark urine, seeing pale stool color or having bloody or tar-colored stool, vomiting or being nausea, and not having an appetite. Also, be aware of bruising easily.
If you are having any of the above symptoms or just want to make sure your liver is functioning the way God created it to function then you should prayerfully make an appointment with your doctor. Remember, God created medical physicians to help His children to maintain healthy lifestyles, since our bodies are to represent His temple.
“Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid” (1 Corinthians 6:15).
