We often find ourselves dwelling on the unknown. This is when we need to meditate on the possibility of Christlike quitting which helps us to kill ourselves with negative thinking about our future. Our strength comes from choosing to live in the positive atmosphere of God’s words in relation to our earthly journeys. We need to cut the ropes: from thinking about past negative moments, fear of the unknown, and the famous “what if syndrome”. We must engage in our daily activities as Free Christian in Christ. This will allow us to walk as joyous and guilt-free Believers. We must always dwell on the fact that Jesus encourages, motivates, and invites us (continuously) to enjoy His rich banquet as His word proclaims “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2).
If we are going to incorporate the word dying in our vocabulary, then we should proclaim we are “dying to live for Christ”. This will help us to eliminate the thinking process of: what will people think about my actions? I am I being selfish? Will I hurt people by my new attitude that rooted upon God’s word? Will I be jeopardizing my personal and professional relationships?
Let us always proclaim and model Jesus’ words Mark 8:35 “whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it”.
