During this time of cleansing while waiting/hoping for the confinement period to end, we can engage in so much needed family time. We must be cautious that we are interacting with loved ones according to healthful healthcare tips. Make sure when verbally communicating with others, we are not verbally vomiting words of gossip, backbiting, belittling, and self-shame/guilt. If we are not feeling physically, mentally, or emotionally well, we will interacting with others and sharing our germs of high fever, coughs, or physical weaknesses. This is what we do not want to do.
If our concerns for others our heartfelt, let us encourage and motivate them through phone calls, text messages, thinking of you care cards (which can be sent through the mail) or social media (Facebook, Instagram, twitter, Skype or livestream). Remember, sometimes we cannot see others in person; however, they are just a prayer and phone call away.
“That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God’s mystery, that is, Christ Himself” (Colossians 2:2).
