Walking in Christlike love is possible when we choose to deny serving our souls and flesh and be acceptance of others’ lifestyle choices. Remember, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength” when we maintain daily intimacy with God (Phil. 4:13). It is vital for us to listen and obey the leadership of the Holy Spirit, stay prayerful, and avoid personalizing others’ comments, actions, or choices as we interact with them.
Our desires and love for Christ are the reason why we want to serve others in Christlike love. As we reflect and live by the “Golden Rule” (love others as ourselves) in order to be and maintain our Christlike effective and efficiency productive lifestyles our serving priority must be “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matt. 6:33). This will allow us to be able to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt. 22:39).
