We look, admire, and appreciate models’, entertainers’, and the rich and famous’ visual fashion statements. Sometimes we duplicate their selective dress styles. Before we decide, purchase, and wear the various designers or non-designers’ styles we need to ask ourselves does this fashion, dress attire, enhance our self-images, budgets, physical appearances, and proclaims, glorifies and portrays our wholistic lifestyle statements (spirit, soul, and body)?
Does this outward dress attire spiritual proclamations reveal our following faith attires: walking in love, beautify God’s image, illustrates us walking in forgiveness, kindness, love, faithfulness, patience, gentleness and self-control? Does it reveal that we have spent intimate and quality time with God before we step out? Do our outward appearances reveal that we are emotional stable? That we are not on an emotional rollercoaster and we do not need attitude adjustments. Do our outward appearances reveal that our personal and professional appearances are in unity? Our dress attires should be clean, a comfortable fit, neat, and presentable.
Well, if all is in check, (spirit, soul, and body) we can step out in confidence, wearing our attire in fashion and style. With and unstoppable attitude, we can pursue our schedule agendas.
“But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for [the LORD seeth] not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).
