We all need to maintain a wellness balance (spirit, soul, and body). Yet, there are days when we are too emotional, lack emotions, dwell on negative thoughts, make negative proclamations, or just do not want to interact in public.
Wellness Alert!!!!
There is nothing wrong with us. We just need to take time away from our overloaded schedules and incorporate some margins in our lifestyles that will initiate restoration in the following areas: emotional, physical, spiritual, intellectual, financial, vocational, and social.
Marginless living causes us to enter into the following zones; burnout, anxiety attack, sickness and diseases, malnutrition, self-righteousness, self-pride, low self-esteem, debt, lack of friendship (due to or negative attitude and treatment of others).
We are in desperate need of margins, which will enhance our identity in Christ, provide the energy we need to deal with life challenges, motivate us to overcome evil with good by proclaiming God’s words over our lifestyles and others’ lifestyle concerns.
Let take a daily dose of our margin prescription as follows:
Life symptoms: Pain felt spiritual (lack of confidence). Read the Bible and find the solution to whatever situation we are facing.
Diagnose from lifestyle choices: This results in feelings of being overwhelmed, the mind is overloaded with negativity, and the physical body is exhausted.
Prescription: Take a marginal break. We can incorporate meditation time in God’s word. We can stop and breathe deeply. We can take some much-needed me-time as follows: vacations, spa-day, plan social outings, spend or not spend time with the family (know our limitations and tolerance levels), decide if it is time to end a career season, and enter a new career season, or maybe we just need to take a nap.
“To everything there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven: A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to break down and a time to build up, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to get and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to cast away, a time to rend and a time to sew, a time to keep silence and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. What profit remains for the worker from his toil? I have seen the painful labor and exertion and miserable business that God has given to the sons of men to exercise and busy themselves (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-10 AMP).
