Christian love is a lifestyle not a feeling.
As a child of God, my love is not based on a warm feeling; therefore, we do not stop loving others when others have disappointed us. God word tell us that Love covers the multitude of sin.
This can be challenging. As child of the most High King, we must remember that our love walk is a faith walk versus living a lifestyle based on our feelings.
Matthew’s Gospel reminds us that the Christian’s lifestyle is based upon the following Scripture: “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And The second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as your self” All the Law and the Prophets hand on these two commandments”(Matthew 22: 36-40).
