During this virus crisis, let us take the time to engage in some much needed me-time. Me-time will allow us to prepare to re-enter the hustle and bustle of society within our daily lifestyles. In preparation, we should start off with a self-examination assessment. Let us look back over our lifestyle choices since January 2020. What eating habits did we choose? How much rest did we get? Did we encounter a lot of health challenges (virus, cold, emotional drama, anxiety attacks, headaches, or lack of energy)? How were interactions with God, family and church members, co-workers, customers, neighbors, and community outreach? How is our personal relationship and fellowship with God whom we claim that we love?
After this assessment, let us pray for guidance in the area of what to add and subtract from our earthly ministries personal (God, self, family and friends) and professional (entrepreneur, corporations, partnerships, or as employees).
Let us accept responsibility for all choices within our control and move forward without condemnation. Let us walk in the attitude of forgiveness, knowing that “I can do all this through him who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13).
