“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things” (Philippians 4:8 NIV).

God wants your thoughts to bring you peace, joy, and glorify Him.

What type of thoughts should we linger on?
Thoughts that at noble, pure, lovely, admirable and praiseworthy.
The above thoughts are called constructive.

This is where we are thinking constructively about our world and environment. So instead of reacting to these events, we choose to interpret and then respond to them in ways that will support our growth and development and minimize friction with the external environment.

Tomorrow, throughout our day, let us check our thoughts and linger over the ones that are pure, true, lovey and praiseworthy.
