For some of us, Monday is the first work or school day of the week. As we are engaging in Monday’s motion, we must think about our physical and spiritual movements.
Before we can make a motion, we must define motion. Wikipedia defines motion “as the movement of changing place”. This evening, as we are transitioning from work, school, or a social event let us make a motion to:
• Release bitterness, anger, jealousy, hurt, and unforgiveness.
• Let us renew our mind in God’s Word.
• Release the “what if syndrome”.
• Let us praise God for His mercy and grace that He rendered to us throughout our daily interactions and activities.
• Release unfinished workload, school assignment, social chatter, and social media.
• Let us take several deep breathes, offer up the prayers of thanksgiving, gratefulness, and praise.
• Let us lay down In God’s Arms and sleep in His peace.
“Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light become night around me, even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you” (Psalm 139: 7-12 NIV).
