When the word networking is mention, we think about marketing and advertising our business or job related events. This is needed in order to grow/maintain one’s customer market, maintain one’s income status, and maintain one’s earthly possessions that one through God’s grace has been given the title of stewardship.
Yet, take a moment and ponder of this thought, are we networking for Jesus?
If we proclaim that we are children of the Highest King, how are we networking our daily lifestyles?
The dictionary defines networking as “the action or process of interacting with others to exchange information and develop professional or social contacts”.
Let us take a Jesus’ Networking Assessment
Before we leave the house, do we spend time with God?
While physically dressing, are we putting on the Whole Armor of God (Ephesians 6: 10-18)?
While brushing our teeth, are we making our faith declarations?
While eating our meals, are we reminded to be grateful and thankful?
While interacting with others, do we choose to operate from the fruit of the spirit: love, joy, peace, gentleness, goodness, kindness, and self-discipline (Galatians 5:22-23)?
Throughout our day we are praising God with our mouths and worshipping God through our words, actions, deeds and thoughts.
