If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise” (Proverbs 15:31 NLT).
No one wants to hear criticism; however, in order to grow in God’s grace we need to be receptive of God’s constructive criticism given to us through inner spirit (Holy Spirit) and others.
Constructive thinking is basically a way of thinking constructively about your world and environment. So instead of reacting to these events, you choose to interpret and then respond to them in ways that will support your growth and development and minimize friction with the external environment.
- One type of mind frame-wisdom
- Wisdom-involves an integrations of knowledge, experience and your perception on how your life challenges, situations, and circumstances play out over time. Ability to judge correctly and to follow the best course of action based on your knowledge and understanding.
- Wisdom choices result in you walking in harmony with God, self, and others most of the time.
- Provides us with a sense of self-worth and inner peace.
As you are going through your day, remain open to God’s constructive criticism.
Have a blessed day in Christ’s constructive criticism arena.
