This time of the year, media and medical industries inform us to get our Flu shots and watch out for allergies, viruses, and muscle joint challenges. We are reminded to fall back, set our clocks back and lose one hour of sleep. We start preparing our bodies for upcoming holidays, cold weather, family gathering, and school and career work overloads. During this October watch, let us not forget to watch out for unwanted stressors. Let us prepare our bodies for extra activities by getting the proper amount of rest. Let us prepare our mind for brain overload by taking supplements/vitamins/medication (when suggested by our Spiritual Physician (SP) and Medical Physician (MP)). Let us make body temperature adjustment through our clothing choices, and extra-curriculum activities. Most of all, let us seek God’s guidance continuously through our October Watch.
“Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains” (James 5:7).
