Onions are considered a nutrient-dense food that provide the following health benefits:

  • Low in calories
  • High in nutrients like vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants
  • Decrease the risk of obesity
  • Promote healthy complexion and hair

The spiritual nutrient-dense food to combat our sinful nature are as follows:

  • Confess and receive Jesus as our personal Savior
  • Daily Bible Study
  • Continuous prayer and fellowship with Jesus
  • Ongoing repentance attitude and mind frame
  • Commit your will to His

 

“The Lord will guide you continually, watering your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy, too. You will be like a well watered garden like an ever-flowing spring” (Isaiah 58:11 NLT).
