” And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; and behold, a voice from heaven said, This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3: 16-17).

The dove symbolizes peace and love. God’s spiritual message from a dove is for believers to walk in peace and love.

Walking in God’s peace and love will:
Permit you to practice and illustrate self-control.
Allow you not to get caught up in arguments, debates, or confusion.
Permit you to stay within God’s peace and pleasant environment.

Tomorrow, as you are walking around, remind yourself that your feet are shod with the gospel of peace. It is up to you to control the temperature.
