When discerning self and others’ personality types, let us remember to seek God’s discernment. Before we place someone into a D, I, S, or C personality types, let us remember that each day brings about creative emotions, self-will power, different energy levels, and freedom of choices. Our observations about self and others must incorporate, behavior patterns, body rhythm, and word choices.
As we interact with family members and friends this week end, let us remember to see others and accept others through the eyes of Christ. As we operate in our Christlike’s characters, we will be able to focus on loving others, serving others, accepting others in His mercy and grace versus defining and discerning our loved ones’ by their personality types.
“Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen” (1 John 4:20).
