Sitting on our porch this summer,
I felt the serenity in the calm wind,
I felt a wave of energy through the sun.
I felt God’s love as I saw the clear sky,
And I saw God’s love in my wife’s beautiful smile.
Also,
My comfortable porch seat allowed me to
Hear the police sirens
Watch my neighbor leave by the way of ambulance
And to receive a disappointing phone call.
Tomorrow when I leave my purse for work, I have decided to focus on God’s love, joy, and peace regardless of the situations.
