Dr. Fredina’s Wellness, Fitness, and Lifestyle Journey

I have a passion for health, fitness, and wellness. Therefore, at the age of 12, my neighborhood friends and family members declared me the fitness instructor at the daycare center my parents owned in Cleveland, Ohio. We start our morning laps, jumping jacks, and push-ups when the kids arrive.

I have a double major in Business Administration and Health and Fitness. Next, I will receive a master’s degree in art and religion and a master’s divinity in professionalism. I thank God (continuously) for my Wellness, Doctorate in Ministry. Through God’s grace, I accepted a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling and Leadership in May 2019. In addition, I am a Certified Life Coach (April 2021). Finally, my ascent in education is to become a Certified Behavior Change Specialist. Now, I am a certified Behavior Change Specialist (November 2021)

Continuing my personal and professional wellness journey, I am a certified wellness coach (November 2023). Next, in January 2024, I humbly yet joyfully received Nutrition Coach certification. Now, in 2024, I am pursuing a Women’s Health Menopause Certificate.  I am grateful and appreciative to God for allowing my dreams to come true.

Dr. Fredina’s Educational Journey

While pursuing double majors in undergraduate studies, I have taught aerobics classes. I was a health and fitness presenter at various Cleveland area fitness centers during my education studies. In addition, I offered health and fitness educational services at the Girl Scout events. I initiated professional wellness and fitness workshops, lectures, and classes for the following prestigious organizations: Cleveland Clinic’s fitness facilities, Health Expression, and the Cleveland Public School System. I have several health and fitness certifications. My accreditations include the American College of Sports Medicine, the Aerobic Fitness Association of America, and the Cooper Institute in Dallas, TX.

I currently carry the distinction of Distinguished Presenter in public speaking from Toastmasters International. I have been seen on local TV, written for Cleveland Clinic’s Today’s Daily Dose, and The Health Hub Blog. My health and wellness expertise contributes to the YouBeauty website, The List (Channel Five), and other national publications. On the other hand, one of my most outstanding achievements is being the author of my first fitness book. The book is called “Fun Fitness: Living a healthy lifestyle and having fun.”

Through my travels and 30 years of experience, I have developed a mantra that I share. The mantra proclaims, “Getting fit is about learning to love, respect, and appreciate you. Sometimes you fall, and that’s ok!” I am determined to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I will continue to preach the Wellness and Healthy Lifestyle Fitness Gospel. You ask me how? My answer is through my wholistic training (spirit, soul, and body) and personal health and fitness experiences. This is my passion and the healthy way for me to educate and train others on how to live a life of wellness.
