How are your facial expressions glorifying God, self, and others?
Wikipedia defines the facial expression:
“A facial expression is one or more motions or positions of the muscles beneath the skin of the face. According to one set of controversial theories, these movements convey the emotional state of an individual to observe. Watching and reading a person’s facial expressions can reveal one’s heart, feelings, or state of mind. Also, our face photos reveal to others how we feel about them and our surroundings.
Since the facial nerve controls facial expression muscle, let’s take the time to check and evaluate our facial expressions against God’s word. This way, we can ensure that we are walking and glorifying God’s love through our facial expressions (His Face).
“The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace” (Numbers 6: 25-26 NIV).
