Romans 12:3 “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith”.
In order to maintain a healthy self-care, we must know ourselves, as we really are, Self-awareness. Getting to know ourselves, is an ongoing journey. The journey of self-awareness can be painful, enlightening, exciting, and challenging as we deal with our strength and weaknesses in Christ. We know God knows us; however, dealing with ourselves open inner self door to the opportunities to grow in God’s grace. This means dealing with our emotional state. We have to deal with our feelings: positive and negative. This means we need to be honest.
As the expression goes “Be True to Thyself”
Remember God know us; therefore, we need to take the time to know ourselves.
