Throughout our life seasons we must maintain a healthy balance between our emotions and personalities. There are days when we are on an emotional roller coaster. Some days we do not meet our desired expectations. The question to ask ourselves is are we setting realistic goals?
We know that with God, all things are possible. We need to make sure our goals are reachable under God’s grace. We tend to set goals according to our high expectation versus setting our goals as a processing and progressive adventure.
Before setting new goals or better yet, let us review our present goals:
Are our goals within God’s divine wellness plan for us (as individuals)?
Are we operating from within our God-given limits? We must remember that only God is omniscience and omnipresence. We put our clothes on daily. We can only drive one care at a time. We can only be a one place at a time. Each minute we use will are not re-usable.
Are we submissive to wise counsel (seeking Holy Spirit guidance and listening to season Christians)?
Are we using spiritual resources to strengthen our soul (reading God’s word)?
