Wow, summer is here. When we think about self-cleansing, we focus on physical weight loss.
Have we ever stop to think about self-cleansing in preparation for our weekend with family members or loved ones?
Of course, we do not think about it.
If we did, what would it include?
• Taking time to detox from our week.
o Focusing on what we accomplished (work, school, church, community, etc.)
o Focus on lessons learned throughout our daily interactions.
o Focus on our eating patterns (did we eat nutritious foods throughout the week, so we can splurge with our food choices?)
o Focus on our thoughts (are we dwelling over lost or missed opportunities, others’ opinions of us to hinder us from being in the present moment?).
o Focus on our soul (are we feeling depressed, sad, anxious, hurt, bitter, or doubtful? If so, let us

God is with us; therefore, let us enjoy our time with family and loved ones without drama from last week.
