A servant spirit is one who serves other lovingly with no strings attached. This describes my father, Fred Usher. Today he turns ninety (90) years old. As a child, raised up under his loving and compassionate care, he always reminded my sisters and I that we are in safe hands, the precious hands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As we watched my father battle health issues, financial challenges, lost of loved ones, he stayed rooted in his faith, that God is in control. As he entered this season of life challenges, he reminds me daily that whatever life brings he trusts God’s decision, since God has never left or let him down. He reminds me daily to:
