We know that the medical industry alerts us that over the age of 65 the chances of getting skin cancer increase. As we grow older in God’s grace, we know that our physical appearance will change in the course of the normal aging process; yet, we are still fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. We should be aware and take into consideration the follow aging processes:
Even though our cells divide more slowly and an inner layer of skin starts to thin, we are still fearfully and wonderfully made in His image. Be more aware of our surroundings to avoid unnecessary bruises and injuries because of the thinning of our skin.
Even though the surface skin layers, loosen and unravels and result in the skin losing elasticity, we are still fearfully and wonderfully made in his image.
Even though the skin’s ability to hold moisture slows down, we are still fearfully and wonderfully made in His image.
As we grow older in God’s grace, let us be thankful for every breath we take, seek the guidance of our Spiritual Physician (SP), Medical Physician (MP), if need be Dermatologist, and use our Common Sense (CS).
Let us always remember that we are fearfully and wonderfully made in His image Psalms 139:14.
