We feel as though nothing will get done if we do not do it. Yet, every time we complete a task, we realize how exhausted we felt, we are frustrated that no one can seem to get the task done the way we wanted it. Here we go flying solo with no energy, no joy, and landing feeling used and abused.
Now we are mad at everyone. Question to ask ourselves is who told us that we were superheroes, and that everything depends on our solo performance.
We are informed that there are advantages and disadvantages of being a soloist.
As a soloist we get things done our way; however, we miss the opportunity of creativity with a group.
As a soloist we can learn on our own; however, we can miss God’s love through the insight that others can offer in relation to our life challenges.
As a soloist we can always depend on ourselves, however, when we are being challenge spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally we are stuck with no back up from others in our time of need.
There are times to go soloist. As a child of God, he wants us to interact with others, walk in the fruit of the spirit as we, be blessed and be a blessing as we share our workload and serve others.
“Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:25).
