“The tongue of the wise is health” (by Kenneth E. Hagin). “The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing” (Proverbs 12:18). We prefer to interact with persons who speak words that compliment, build up, motivate, and agree with our dreams and goals. Most of the time our spoken words are program from our negative thoughts. It is important that we renew our minds daily. This means we need to practice self-discipline in the area of taking our daily dose of God’s word in order to speak life into our environments as well as declaring and proclaiming God’s truths and blessing into the lifestyles of whoever we interact with.
Instead of slapping someone in the face with word choices of: you look tired, you look like you picked up some weight, or you are not qualified to apply for that job,
We Can Say:
the joy of the Lord is your strength, you are fearfully and wonderfully made in God’s image, and you can do all things in Christ.
Our word song should proclaim God’s goodness, God’s love, God’s reassurance, and God’s blessing at all times. Why? Because “the tongue of the wise is health” (by Kenneth E. Hagin).
