Over indulging in sugar will have a negative effect our mental and emotional state as well as our brains and bodies.
For example, mental and emotional signs of sugar overload are:
Loss of enthusiasm within our relationships, hobbies, and careers.
Mood swings and irritability.
Challenging time concentrated and forgetfulness.
On the other hand, too much sugar affects our brains and bodies as follows:
Panic attacks and feelings of anxiety.
Diabetes or hypoglycemia.
Loss of B vitamins and minerals due to our food choices when trying to manage our stress levels.
The healthy solution to this is to eliminate our intake of unhealthy sweeteners (white sugars). When desiring sweet foods, let us seek our Spiritual Physician (SP) and Medical Physician (MD) before we partake of the following healthful sweeteners: honey, rice syrup, fructose (if you are not suffering with candida), and Stevia.
Next sugar balance is within our spirit. In order to overcome the negative forces and challenges that try to get us to submit to an atmosphere of fear, doubt, pride, pity, defeat and failure we must feed our spirit healthy sugars such as praying for guidance, reading God’s word for direction, quoting Scriptures verbally to defeat anything, words, feelings, persons who try to influence us to detour from God’s divine wellness plan within our lifestyles.
“If you pay attention to these laws and are careful to follow them, then the LORD your God will keep his covenant of love with you, as he swore to your ancestors. He will love you and bless you and increase your numbers. He will bless the fruit of your womb, the crops of your land—your grain, new wine and olive oil—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you. You will be blessed more than any other people; none of your men or women will be childless, nor will any of your livestock be without young. The LORD will keep you free from every disease. He will not inflict on you the horrible diseases you knew in Egypt, but he will inflict them on all who hate you” (Deuteronomy 7:12-15 NIV).
