Our basements are below ground level. Each season our basements’ temperature adjusts to the seasonal changes. Our basement can become alive during our recreational activities. Our basement can be or safe place during hurricane and tornado seasons. Our furnished basement can provide room and board for family members and friends. What are we packing away in our spiritual basements?
The rooms within our spiritual basements should maintain:
A large room of forgiveness. Throughout our day as insults and mistreatments confront us. We can confess our hurts and disappointments and forgive.
A medium room for self-reconstruction. As we are growing in God’s grace, we will be able to complete the unfinished project, give away thoughts, and monitor our personal and professional workloads.
A small room of blessings. As we continue to unfold God’s divine wellness plan for our lifestyles, we will be spiritually equipped to motivate, encourage, and help others pursue their goals.
