The voice, which voice to follow, is an ongoing question we ask ourselves daily. Throughout the day, we hear all kinds of instructions. We receive voluntary and involuntary suggestions on solutions. First, there is the inward tone. This sound offers pros and cons if we decide to do it a certain way. Then, there are several external voices. These solutions offer constructive and nonconstructive answers to our life challenges.

The Choices

The voice to follow will depend upon our mindset. First, we must prayerfully and attentively listen to the resolution given. Next, we must base the decision on the authenticity of the carrier. Third, the solution gives who will benefit from it. In addition, will this solution cause conflict or peace within your relationships, environment, and self?  Finally, the solution is self-gratification (now); therefore, if I select to use this solution, what will the long-run outcome be?

The Healthy Voice

The voice chosen will result in a holistic balance. There will not be a war between your spirit, soul, and body. This healthy choice will build up your self-confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem. Also, you do not feel shame or condemnation about your choice. The healthy voice selection allows you to feel inner peace. The resolution was conflict—and drama-free.
