Many ideas and thoughts run rapidly within our minds. Yes, we can select which ones to keep, cast down, and eliminate. Your thought becomes toxic once given permission to linger negatively, allow them to enter the following feelings zone:  fear, worry, doubt, and feeling of inaccuracy. No, we should not ignore or suppress any thoughts (good, bad, or neutral). We should meditate on them, dissect them, learn constructively, and release negative and unwanted thoughts.

We must remind ourselves that thoughts are an ongoing process. Some thoughts will resurface; however, it is up to us how we choose to select and use the information traveling around inside of our head
