Are you standing on a corner feeling unloved? This feeling manifest when we feel unwanted, misunderstood, unvalued, and not cared for. The feelings might be hindering and true; however, we have the final authority on how deep we will allow the roots of unloved to manifest and remain within our lifestyles.
Let us combat the feelings of unloved by
Avoiding self-sabotage.
1. Stop self-medicating on the negative thought. Build ourselves up in His word. “I am accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6).
2. Spend time with people that motivate and encourage us. “”A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity” (Proverbs 17:17).
3. Challenge our thoughts. If the thought keeps running through our head, that nobody cares or I am always misunderstood, ask God to reveal to us the motive behind the thoughts. If it is an attack from the evil one then proclaim “I am more than a conqueror” (Romans 8:37). If God reveal that we need to work on our communication approach then proclaim ““The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice” (Psalm 37:30).
Remember In Christ, we can do all things, including avoid or overcome the feelings of being unloved. God always loves us.
